Planning

konzepterstellung

In the past it was very common in architecture to create a lot of small, isolated and incompatible networks. These are expensive, inflexible and difficult to manage. Today’s standard is to create a central, strong, intelligent and secure infrastructure, which connects and integrates all participants smoothly. Infrastructure that includes VoiP, CCTV, access systems, audio, video, TV, HSIA, HVAC, etc., are no longer physically separated. BCOMM delivers detailed designs on power consumption and HVAC requirements and helps other components function smoothly. We take into account that a building is made for decades – in IT we usually do not plan longer than a couple of years.

Concept definition

  • Elaboration of a basic design concept
  • Silver/gold/platinum concept through variation in hardware, availability and complexity
  • Legal clarification, investigation of alternative approaches with identical requirements
  • Visualization in charts, designs including descriptions and reports
  • Definition of documentation guidelines
  • Cost estimates
  • A building is designed for decades. IT has a time horizon of approximately 5 years.
  • Planning of review and renewal-cycles.
  • Budgeting for long term investment (Hardware Replacement)
  • Service definitions and subsequent agreement on availability and service quality (SLA’s). The resulting catalog will be further used as a design guide

Design engineering

  • Review of the basic design proposal
  • Visualization and documentation in a quality which serves other all participants/partners as a basis for their concepts.
  • Detailed description including comments and cost estimate

Detailed planning

  • Review of the approved design together with other professionals, coordination and design matching
  • Visualization and documentation in detail, e.g. bandwidth calculation, power consumption, etc.
  • Consulting and representing the customer
  • Negotiations with all professionals in connection with IT
  • Schedules and timetables
  • Coordination an integration of all it-relevant professionals
